Plans call for developing a four-block area along Atlantic Boulevard and Hendricks Avenue and building luxury apartment homes, condos and commercial space to create a pedestrian-friendly center.

This six-story development will offer 35-two and three-bedroom townhomes and condos and another 125 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units, parking garages and ample parking. Space is also being set aside for a 30,000 square foot grocery store and another 27,000 square feet of retail space.

Epping ForestTravel south along Hendricks Avenue from San Marco and you come to the aria known as San Jose, home of the riverfront community of Epping Forest. The center piece of Epping Forest is the expansive 15,000 square foot building originally built as the summer home for magnate Alfred Il DuPont. With 58 acres, Epping Forest includes a yacht club, a fitness center and walking paths.
